The CEO of independent beds retailer Sussex Beds has taken a seat on the board of furniture retailer Woods Furniture – Dorchester.
Steve Pickering announced the news via LinkedIn which sees him, effective from 4 April 2025, appointed as a non-executive Director on the board of Woods Furniture – Dorchester.
He said: “I am looking forward to working with Hamish and his team and continuing the success and growth they have achieved in recent years whilst being committed to bringing new thoughts and experiences to the table. I am nervous, I am excited, and very much looking forward to the challenge.”
Established in 1875, Woods Furniture is one of the largest furniture stores in the South West of England, with two physical retail stores and an e-commerce national presence.
