Fitted kitchens and fitted wardrobes supplier Sigma 3 has reported a decline in sales and profit.

According to its latest filed accounts for the year ended 30 September 2024, total sales fell 8.4% to £28.3m from £30.9m in 2023.

Pre-tax profit resulted at £417,000, down from £2m recorded the previous year.

Stated within its report, the Sigma said: “The Company was not immune to general market downturns around the turn of the calendar year 2024 and during the summer months with uncertainty surrounding the General Election and interest rate policy.

“All factors combined resulted in lower consumer demand tor traditional larger purchases. In addition, the downturn in new housing developments had a significant impact on the contract builders revenue stream.

“However, the Company accumulated a strong order book during the final quarter of the year and is pleased to report intake (orders into the factory) showing double digit growth year on year for year-to-date fiscal year 2025.”
