A Year of Transformation

Zak Lalani, General Manager at Bentley Designs, shares an exclusive insight into the company following a transformative year.

Despite a challenging market backdrop, Bentley Designs, one of the UK and Ireland’s leading furniture suppliers with almost four decades of expertise, has been proactive in product development by expanding its portfolio significantly, while also entering the sofa market with a mix of fabric and leather models in both fixed and motion styles.

“It’s been a year of transformation,” says Zak Lalani, General Manager at Bentley Designs. “We have designed more new products in 2025 than in any recent year, aligning with our goal to become a complete interiors supplier. We’re known for quality and craftsmanship in wooden cabinet furniture, and we’ve extended that strength into complementary categories so we can serve our partners more completely.”

In conjunction with this product development, Bentley Designs has strengthened its sales team with the introduction of two new Area Sales Managers, Tony Cramp and Daniel Stocchero. Both Tony, who has over 14 years of experience from Neptune, and Dan, who led the Bell & Stocchero brand, join Michael Concannon to compliment and complete its sales team.

Shifting the focus back to products, Bentley Designs will be expanding its Signature wooden cabinet programme with the introduction of Delta, a contemporary oak dining and bedroom range showcasing the natural characteristics of rustic oak, as well as expanding its ceramic programme, which is part of its Gallery Collection. “Like much of the industry, we see strong potential in the durability and adaptability of sintered stone,” Zak said.

“We have designed more new products in 2025 than in any recent year.”

“Highlights include motion dining tables with innovative extension mechanisms and height-adjustable occasional tables for space-conscious living. Alongside this expansion, we’ve enhanced the value of our Gallery Collection with a new UK stock promotion, offering 10% off all Gallery products on orders over £2,500 excluding VAT.

“Combined with the recent price reductions introduced in November, it delivers exceptional value in an exciting area of development where we’re applying the same design principles and craftsmanship refined over four decades in wooden cabinet to a different set of materials, giving our customers quality product for less.”

In addition, and as part of the Gallery Collection, Bentley has also introduced commercially priced metal chairs and bar stools in on-trend fabrics. “Although these are sourced separately from the wooden ranges, customers can procure them together from UK stock in Bicester and benefit from a bulk discount of 10% on orders over £10,000 excluding VAT, with delivery in two weeks,” Zak continued.

“The benefit for retailers is that they can now partner alternative chairs from the Gallery Collection with Signature wooden dining tables, creating more accessible and tailored table and chair combinations that appeal to a broader group of price-conscious end consumers while maintaining the quality and design integrity Bentley Designs is known for.

“We will showcase the results of our expansion at our in-house show in December, followed by exhibiting at the January Furniture Show 2026. To our valued customers and to those who may be new to us, we would love to welcome you to our in-house show in Bicester or to our stand at the NEC so you can experience the new collections first-hand and share in the excitement of this next chapter.”
