Furniture searches focus on Black Friday during November 2025

UK searches of furniture during November were dominated by Black Friday related searches, while mattresses, carpets and bedroom furniture all performed strongly.

According to Google search data analysed by Big Furniture Group, one day during November 2025 saw ‘furniture’ searches record an index score of 90 or more, while a score over 80 came in at 10 days. The highest searched date was 9 November with a full score 100.

Google index’s its search data to 100. This means where 100 is the maximum search interest for the term selected, it is the highest value and indicates a high internet search.

The results saw related searches of specific terms that included ‘black Friday furniture deals’, up 1,750%, ‘black Friday furniture’, up 850%, and ‘black Friday furniture sales’. Other popular terms included ‘amc furniture outlet’ – up 130%, ‘bedroom furniture store’ – up 70%, and ‘bensons for beds’ – up 60%, while ‘black bedroom furniture’ was up 40%.

Other search terms Big Furniture Group reviewed included mattresses, bedroom furniture, dining furniture, living room furniture, sofas, carpets and flooring.

Mattresses

Mattress searches recorded seven peak dates with an index score value of 90 or more. The highest searched date was 9 November with a full score of 100. Popular related brand searches included Emma, Dreams, Tempur, Argos and Furniture Village. The terms ‘black Friday mattress deals 2025’ – up 1,600%, ‘mattress black Friday deals’ – up 1,350%, and ‘black Friday mattress’ – up 900%, were notable searches. Meanwhile, ‘how to choose a mattress’ – up 600%, ‘what is a coil mattress’ – up 350%, and ‘wool mattress topper’ – up 50%, searches were other high related queries.

Bedroom furniture

Bedroom furniture searches recorded three days of peak activity with an index value over 90. The most searched date was 16 November, which scored a full 100. Popular brand searches included Heal’s, The Range, Furniture123, Laura James, The Cotswold Company and B&Q. The terms ‘black Friday bedroom furniture’, ‘3 piece bedroom furniture set’, ‘black friday bedroom furniture sale’, ‘bed side table’, ‘children’s bedroom furniture sets uk’ and ‘space saving bedroom furniture’ were high breakout searches. Other notable searches included ‘shabby chic bedroom furniture’ – up 4,250%, ‘farmhouse bedroom furniture’ – up 3,700%, and ‘bedroom furniture sets’ – up 2,250%.

Dining furniture

Dining furniture searches recorded one day of peak activity with an index value over 90. The most searched date was 9 November, which scored a full 100. Popular brand searches included Roseland Furniture, IKEA, Casa Bella Furniture, Furniture Village, Furniture123, Oak Furnitureland, Cox and Cox, Wayfair, Fishpools, Heal’s and Furniture Choice. The terms ‘corner bench dining table’, ‘bar stools’, ‘small dining table for 2’, ‘furniture village sale dining table’, ’round dining table for 6’, and ‘high back dining chairs’ were all high breakout searches.

Living room furniture

Living room furniture saw five peak days during the month. The most searched day was 2 November that scored the full 100 score. Popular brand related searches included Habitat, IKEA, The Cotswold Company, ScS, Daals, Furniture Village and Furniture123. The terms ‘display cabinet’, ‘modern living room furniture sets’, ‘small living room furniture ideas’, ‘dressing table’, ‘industrial living room furniture’, and ‘armchair’, were all standout searches, alongside ‘black Friday deals living room furniture’ and ‘sofa set for living room’.

Sofas

Sofa searches saw six peak dates, with the highest score of 100 recorded on 23 November. Popular related brand searches included ScS, Sofa Club, IKEA, Sofology, Next and DFS. Search terms included ‘black Friday sofa deals’, up 1,100%, and ‘sofa black Friday’, up 900%. Other terms included ‘sofa club glasgow’, ‘black sofa’ and ‘ikea sofa black Friday sale’, while ‘next throws for sofas’ rose 300% and ‘sofas for small apartments’ increased 3,650%.

Flooring & Carpets

Flooring searches saw eight days scoring over 90, with the highest date being 8 November, scoring the full 100. Carpet searches saw 14 days scoring over 90, with the highest date on 12 November scoring the full 100.

Popular brand searches included Flooring Superstore, Tapi Carpets, Karndean Flooring, Ted Todd, Brintons, Kelly’s Carpets, Furniture Village, Cromer Carpets and Ulster Carpets. Popular search terms included ‘how to lay lino flooring’ – up 250%, ‘black Friday flooring deals’ – up 110%, and ‘carpet runners for hallway’. Other terms included ‘carpet runner for stairs’, while ‘Tapi Carpets’ searches rose 1,600%, and ‘how to remove coffee stain from carpet’, increased 5,000%.
