Clothing and home furnishings textiles supplier Behrens has reported an uptick in sales and profit.

According to its latest filed accounts for the year ended 31 December 2024, total sales rose 13.1% to £25.8m from £22.8m in 2023.

Pre-tax profit resulted at £2.9m, up from £2.4m recorded the previous year.

Stated within its report, the company said UK sales represented £24.1m, up from £21.7m year-on-year, while export revenues totalled £1.6m, up from £1m.

“The group is continuing to adapt and change as required and is always looking for new opportunities,” the company said. “We are dealing with the inevitable cost pressures at the moment, but remain confident that 2025 will be another positive year.”
