Mohammed Boota, Director at Windsor Bed Frames, reflects on a successful January Furniture Show, stand out performers and what’s next for the business.
Fresh from launching new models at the start of the year, West Midlands-based bed frame manufacturer Windsor Bed Frames returned to the January Furniture Show (JFS) at the NEC in Birmingham to officially unveil its new collections.
For Windsor Bed Frames, the show was a “significant success”, outperforming expectations with new ranges being well-received and orders placed. “We had an exceptionally busy Sunday and Monday, seeing a high volume of activity,” Mohammed said. “Tuesday remained steady, but as anticipated, business tapered off on Wednesday.

“We were particularly pleased to outperform our expectations by securing a high volume of floor models, which highlights the strong interest in our products. Additionally, the craftsmanship of our handmade frames drew notable attention, underscoring the quality and uniqueness that we bring to the market.
“Overall, the show was a great platform for showcasing our offerings and connecting with customers.”
Mohammed added that the event exuded a vibrant, pre-COVID atmosphere that was both “refreshing and energizing”. “Retailers seemed to have enjoyed good business performances in January, which likely contributed to their positive mindset towards exploring new products.
“The overall experience at the exhibition was fantastic, with a lively ambiance that fostered engaging interactions and opportunities. This sense of optimism and excitement throughout the event, making it a truly memorable experience.”
In terms of product highlights, Mohammed said that its premium pine and oak ranges drew the most attention, combined with the introduction of its new upholstered frames. “The strong demand for floor models highlights their resonance with the current retail landscape, effectively catering to consumer preferences for style,” he said.
“This blend of quality and versatility has made these offerings especially appealing to retailers looking to enhance their product lines. We also officially introduced our 5-Year Guarantee at the show, marking a significant milestone for Windsor Bed Frames.

“This initiative not only strengthens our position in the market but also serves as a testament to the quality and durability of our workmanship. By standing behind our products and services with this guarantee, we demonstrate our commitment to customer satisfaction and confidence in the value we provide.
“This bold step reassures our customers that we are dedicated to excellence, consolidating trust and loyalty in our product, this guarantee will undoubtedly enhance our reputation and set us apart in a competitive landscape.”
Following the show, Windsor Bed Frames has been busy compiling visitor data and leads, as well as gathering feedback from retailers for the manufacturing team to inform future product development. On that note, Mohammed revealed that Windsor Bed Frames will be introducing new contemporary designs shaped by the feedback it received from its retail partners during JFS.
“We also aim to further improve our robust packaging, to ensure more protection for our exquisite frames, as well as enhancing our in-store Point of sale proposition to encourage greater consumer engagement.
“Lastly, we’re committed to sustainability initiatives. We are exploring eco-friendly materials and practices to align our offerings with the growing consumer demand for sustainable products. By prioritising these initiatives, we hope to not only meet market expectations but also contribute positively to the environment.”
In a final note, Windsor Bed Frames, which is planning to exhibit at the Manchester Furniture Show in July 2026, is also looking to expand to meet its growing demand. Mohammed said: “The unequivocal interest we witnessed at the exhibition was truly remarkable, highlighting a significant surge in appetite from the retail sector.
“This enthusiastic response has us optimistic about the year ahead, as we anticipate surpassing our initial forecasts, which will hopefully enable us to create job opportunities too. We’re excited for the year ahead and we’ve started 2026 with fresh energy, a stronger product lineup and a more streamlined production process, ensuring we’re well-positioned for growth.”
