Cheshire-based family-run bed and mattress retailer The M6 Bed Warehouse has revealed plans to open its third store.
Situated in Macclesfield, The M6 Bed Warehouse has taken over a former tile store in a “strong retail spot”, with the property now undergoing refurbishment ahead of a proposed launch during May or June.

The new store will showcase a broad and eclectic mix of well-known, NBF-approved brands including Sealy, Sleepeezee, Harrison Spinks and Enchanted House.
Louis Mitchell, Director of The M6 Bed Warehouse, commented: “Our third store will be located in Macclesfield, taking over a former tile store in a really strong retail spot. It’s positioned within a well-established home improvement district, alongside a bathroom retailer and close to both tile and carpet stores, so it naturally complements what we do.
“We chose this location very deliberately. Macclesfield is already an area we serve regularly through our delivery network, so opening a store here allows us to better support existing demand while giving customers the opportunity to experience our range in person. It also strengthens our overall footprint and links nicely with our current stores.
“As a dedicated bed specialist, customers can also expect an exceptional choice across all sleep preferences, including natural fillings, gel, memory foam and latex, with options available in firm, medium and soft tensions to suit every individual comfort level.
“As with all our locations, the focus will be on a relaxed, friendly shopping environment. No high-pressure sales – just expert advice, great service, and the same first-class customer experience we’re known for. Customers will also benefit from our free delivery and free disposal services, which remain a key part of our offer.”
Louis added that the third store, adding to its existing locations in Alsager and Northwich (as pictured above), forms part of a wider growth strategy for the company. “We’ve made significant investment behind the scenes – including route planning software, additional delivery vehicles and expanding our team to ensure we can scale effectively.
“While our immediate focus is on launching Macclesfield successfully, we do have ambitions to continue growing our store network over the coming years. It’s an exciting step for us, and we’re looking forward to bringing the M6 Beds experience to Macclesfield.”
