A new furniture business has announced its launch in Kettering.

Situated on Stamford Road, Jamie’s Furniture Store officially opens on Sunday 29 March 2026, taking over a former AC Furnishings space.

The business, launched by Jamie Cooper – who also runs Jamie’s Quality Butchers in Gold Street – will feature beds, sofas, wardrobes, bedside cabinets, lighting, artificial flowers and home accessories.

The store has undergone a refurbishment process, with the company celebrating the opening with a free barbecue on launch day.

“We are excited to announce another addition to the Jamie’s Brand,” the business said. “Jamie’s Quality Butchers and Bluewing Digital are the proud new owners of the space previously known as AC Furnishings (and Aladdin’s Cave before that!).

“We are bringing a fresh new one stop shop for everything furniture with a newly refurbished Showroom and Online Store.

“With everything from beds, mattresses, wardrobes, sofas and so much more, we can’t wait to open our doors to the public!”
