British lighting brand Industville has opened its first central London showroom and design hub in Clerkenwell.

Located in the historic Cannon Brewery building, the 1329sq.ft studio places Industville at the heart of one of London’s most established design districts, bringing the brand closer to the creative professionals it has long worked alongside.

“We work closely with interior designers and architects, and Clerkenwell felt like the natural place to create a shared space,” says Mara Rypacek Miller, Founder. “The showroom was never intended simply as somewhere to display products. It is a place to inspire, to discuss and to collaborate, where people can bring a project, sit together, review materials and talk through how a space should feel. Lighting decisions are rarely only technical; they are emotional and experiential, and this studio allows us to explore that process together.”

Set within the preserved Cannon Brewery buildings, the showroom reflects Industville’s ongoing dialogue between old and new. The space is intentionally arranged across two levels to mirror the lighting decision process.

The upper level focuses on experience, demonstrating how light interacts with architecture, texture and atmosphere within a real interior environment. It is designed as a welcoming setting for meetings, collaboration and informal discussion.

The lower level focuses on application, where visitors can engage directly with the collections, explore finishes and combinations and understand how different types of lighting function within a project.

The showroom will present new launches alongside signature collections, while also acting as a working resource for architects, interior designers and specifiers.

The studio gives designers a place to bring drawings, test ideas and review options in person. Our role is to support their thinking and help them feel confident in the final lighting decisions.”
