The CEO of beds and mattresses retailer Mattressman, Mark Wotton, has confirmed he has now left the company.

In a statement shared over social media, Mark said that his time leading the retailer “has now come to an end” with founder and owner Andrew Kerry stepping back in to the lead the business following a sabbatical.

Mark said it was a “privilege” to lead the company, which he joined as CEO back in August 2025.

“Wow – what an incredible nine months,” Mark said. “My time leading Mattressman has now come to an end as our Founder and Owner, Andrew Kerry, returns from his sabbatical in Dubai to take back the reins.

“It’s been a privilege to guide the business during this period, and I’m proud of what we achieved together: strong retail sales and margin growth, three fantastic new stores, an improved customer journey, and a sharper brand positioning.

“I’m grateful to the brilliant team and our outstanding supply partners for their support. I’ll be cheering you on from the sidelines.

I am now exploring new opportunities as a CEO or Commercial Director – interim or permanent – within a consumer‑facing business.
