Furniture retailer NCF Living has reported a growth in sales.
According to its latest filed accounts for the year ended 31 March 2025, total sales rose 5% to £33.1m from £31.4m in 2024.
Pre-tax losses resulted at £2m, down from a profit of £221,000 recorded in the previous year. This reflected planned investment in store expansion, refurbishment and management development.
Stated within its report, the company said: “These investments have begun to enhance trading performance, with profitability returning in the final quarter of the year and continuing into 2026.
“New stores opened in Northampton and Edinburgh, with further expansion after year end in Warrington, Cardiff, Preston, and Glasgow, alongside improvement of the flagship Highgate store.
“The Company continues to pursue its growth strategy, including further store openings in 2025/26 and 2026/27, investment in its online platform, and development of staff and IT systems to support operational performance and customer experience.
“Trading in 2025/26 is strong, with turnover currently trending approximately 38% ahead of the 2024/2025, underpinning a strong and sustained profit.”
