Work Offering
We are looking for independent sales agents to cover specific regions of the UK and support our continued growth and attract new customers with our ever-growing and new cabinet offering.
Regions include South West, South East, Midlands, North West, North East and Scotland. Previously we had an in-house agent dealing with all regions and would like to consider independent candidates per region to work on our wholesale business. We will be offering a competitive commission.
Responsibilities
As an independent agent we would expect the candidate to:
- Be able to manage their own time and planning to visit customers and promote our ranges to potential new customers, with materials such as brochures, swatch samples and website (show van can also be made available).
- To map out and list key retail clients in their regions and pursue new potential accounts for our client base.
- To build on existing Artedi relationships and visit customers regularly to ensure all their requirements are met.
- Participate in trade shows throughout the year and invite their clients for viewings to introduce new ranges and launches.
- Make most of our London showroom to arrange any client meetings or meals, with other members of Artedi and view any specific furniture items required.
- Stay up to date with regular discussions with senior staff at Artedi on current and new offerings and to ensure these are communicated to their regional client base, regularly.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven sales experience and strong local knowledge ideally in the furniture retail space.
- Target driven and self-motivated and able to work on, what we believe to be a market beating commission rate (bonus incentives also available)
- Organised and strong bookkeeping to regularly report on activity and meetings (monthly)
- Driving license and car, to cover their regions adequately (contributions towards travel would be made).
