Better sleep starts this September, according to The Sleep Charity as it announces the theme of its annual Sleeptember campaign – ‘Better Sleep Starts Here…’ and its 2025 sponsor, Bed Advice UK.
This year’s theme places the spotlight on the critical role that beds and mattresses play in achieving a good night’s sleep, with the aim to educate the public on the essential link between sleep quality and the sleep environment. Bed Advice UK, the consumer arm of the National Bed Federation (NBF), was a natural partner for this year’s campaign and will call for the bed industry to unite in support.
With millions across the UK affected by sleep difficulties, Sleeptember 2025 serves as a timely reminder of the health and wellbeing benefits of proper rest – and how a good bed is the foundation for it. As the sponsor, Bed Advice UK will help lead the charge in sharing expert guidance, resources, and actionable advice throughout the month.
“We’re thrilled to be the official sponsor of Sleeptember 2025,” said Simon Williams, head of marketing & membership at the NBF. “As a trusted source of advice and information on bed buying, Bed Advice UK is perfectly positioned to champion this year’s message. The campaign offers a fantastic platform for the entire bed industry to step forward, raise awareness, and make a meaningful difference to the nation’s sleep health.”
The campaign will feature a series of activities including educational content, media outreach and industry engagement. Businesses in the bed sector are encouraged to get involved – whether through in-store promotions, social media campaigns or community initiatives – and show their commitment to supporting sleep wellness across the UK.
Lisa Artis, Deputy CEO of The Sleep Charity, added: “We know that better sleep transforms lives, and a suitable sleep environment is a crucial piece of that puzzle. With the NBF’s backing, this year’s Sleeptember will have an even greater impact in helping people make informed choices about their beds and mattresses.”
