For over 30 years, the company has been creating textiles that bring comfort, beauty, and character to interiors worldwide.

As a European brand with strong heritage in textile design and technology, DAVIS combines timeless aesthetics with advanced functionality, ensuring that fabrics offer not only visual appeal but also long-lasting performance.

Operating warehouses and branches from Poland to Spain, Italy, and China, the company provides seamless access to the same collections and colours across continents. With over 20 million metres of fabric in stock, DAVIS guarantees fast deliveries, consistent quality, and reliable service for furniture manufacturers globally—reflecting its philosophy of global expertise supported by local trust.

UKFR: Safety Without Compromise

Fire safety is essential in the UK furniture market. DAVIS offers a complete range of FR (Flame Retardant) and CRIB 5-certified fabrics designed for residential, public, and hospitality interiors. Produced using halogen-free chemistry, these textiles ensure effective flame resistance with reduced environmental impact. All FR fabrics meet OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 requirements, confirming safety for users and the environment.

Every fabric undergoes rigorous testing according to UK BS 5852 (Ignition Source 0 and 1) and EN 1021-1/2 standards. CRIB 5 fabrics meet the strict requirements for contract furniture. With in-house production, testing facilities, and advanced laboratory equipment, DAVIS maintains full control over consistency, compliance, and innovation—delivering reliable protection without compromising comfort or design.

Certified Quality: DAVIS LAB

Quality at DAVIS is driven by precision and verification. DAVIS LAB, accredited under ISO/IEC 17025:2017, conducts comprehensive tests for abrasion, colour fastness, durability, and fire resistance. Every batch is checked before release, ensuring dependable performance for manufacturers and end users. All collections are developed by in-house design and colour teams who merge creativity with technical expertise to set new standards in textile functionality.

Key performance finishes include:

  • EC (Easy Clean): An invisible layer that prevents dirt from penetrating the fabric, allowing most stains to be removed with water alone.

  • WR (Water Repellent): A breathable barrier preventing liquids from soaking in while preserving softness and natural texture.

  • RPES (Recycled PET Yarns): High-quality yarns made from recycled PET bottles, offering reduced environmental impact with GRS and OEKO-TEX® certification.

As a member of the British Furniture Association (BFA), DAVIS supports the UK furniture market through responsible innovation and close collaboration with manufacturers and designers. Its international operations, certified testing processes, and long-term industry partnerships ensure consistent, trustworthy results worldwide.

Founded in 1995 in Bielsko-BiaÅ‚a, Poland, DAVIS FABRICS now serves nearly 60 global markets with a team of over 450 professionals – continuing its mission to create fabrics that inspire, support, and endure.
