Furniture retailer NCF Living has reported a growth in sales as revenue surged past £30m.
According to its latest filed accounts for the year ended 31 March 2024, total sales rose 23% to £31.4m from £25.7m in 2023.
Pre-tax profit resulted at £221,000, improving from £53,000 recorded in the previous year.
Stated within its report, the company said: “The company’s state-of-the-art national distribution centre at Hams Hall, Coleshill, has allowed the business to service its growing turnover and to facilitate expansion of the store estate, including additional stores in Chester, Manchester and Gateshead in 2023/24.
“The store estate has further expanded following the year end to add Northampton and Edinburgh and through the renovation and expansion of the flagship Perry Barr store.
“The business is on target to achieve gross turnover in excess of £80m with strong profitability by 2025/26.”
