Door maker opens new showroom; partners with Danish furniture brand

Door manufacturer Express Bi-folding Doors has announced the opening of its new showroom in Milton Keynes as well as a collaboration with furniture brand BoConcept.

Situated at Stonebridge, the new 9,000sqft showroom becomes the business’ sixth location and has created around 20 new jobs.

“The new showroom is larger than our Glasgow and Weybridge equivalents and contains purpose-built show homes, house front displays & room sets to display our full product range in real life settings,” the company said.

“The whole space has been designed to showcase the best of our products including our brand new 2026 product launches and latest innovations.”

In addition, the business has joined forces with BoConcept, bringing interior design and bespoke glazing together “under one roof”.

The partnership is a commission-based agreement for any furniture sales that are made within the showroom, with the company anticipating it could become a reliable revenue stream.

“We are proud to have partnered with the global luxury furniture brand BoConcept to curate the various displays across our brand-new showroom in Milton Keynes,” the company added.

“This exciting collaboration brings the iconic Danish Design collection of BoConcept to Express Bi-folding Doors, creating beautifully styled living displays; and a unique glazing showroom and an Interior Design service for your home under one roof.”

The Leeds-headquartered family-owned national luxury door firm recently saw sales rise to £32.2m from £31.1m within its latest filed accounts for the year ended 31 August 2025. Pre-tax profit resulted at £261,000, down from £740,000 in 2024.

“We carried out a significant extension in our Leeds showroom to generate more footfall and orders which was successful,” the company said in its report. “Our Glasgow showroom performed well throughout the year, but we decided to close our showroom in Romford, East London.

“Romford was challenging to staff and we didn’t believe we were getting an ROI for all the efforts it was taking to promote and operate the showroom, so with closing Romford we are consolidating all our efforts into Weybridge, which since September has had a positive effect.

“Express is very well placed for another successful twelve months. We look forward to reaping the benefits of our new Milton Keynes showroom and expect our Leeds, Glasgow, Weybridge and Bournemouth showrooms to out perform last year.”
