Furniture maker grows repairs revenue as sales remain strong

Furniture manufacturer Repose Furniture has reported another year of strong sales.

According to its latest filed accounts for the year ended 30 November 2024, total sales stood at £10.2m, slightly down from £10.3m recorded in 2023.

Product sales were down from £10.2m to £9.2m, while service and repairs revenue increased 493% from to £134,000 to £795,000.

UK and Ireland sales fell slightly from £10.2m to £10m, while exports rose from £112,000 to £204,000.

Pre-tax profit resulted at £609,000, down from £868,000 year-on-year.

Stated within its report, the company said: “Turnover of £10.2m was £0.1m lower than the prior year turnover of £10.3m. The order book for the company remains strong with the conversion of these orders being a priority of the company.

“During the year, the business moved to a larger manufacturing facility to achieve strategic growth objectives. The business now shows net assets of £9.4m compared to net assets of £8.8m in the prior year.”
