The owner of a furniture retail park has changed hands after Hines, acting on behalf of Hines Global Income Trust (HGIT), has acquired Junction 27.
Based in Birstall, near Leeds, Hines has acquired the retail park from Tritax Big Box and marks HGIT’s entry into the UK retail market, further diversifying the trust’s $4.5bn (£3.4bn) portfolio.
The fully-let retail park features a combined space of 131,000sqft and includes many retailers from the furniture industry.
These include Furniture Village, ScS, Barker and Stonehouse, Sofology, Natuzzi, and NCF Living as well as other tenants such as Currys, Pizza Express, TGI Fridays, and Zizzi.
