Furniture retailer appoints interim CFO following resignation

Hardwood furniture retailer Oak Furnitureland has announced the appointment of Grayham Dibb-Fuller as interim chief financial officer (CFO).

The appointment follows the resignation of Patrick Lewis, the great-grandson of John Spedan Lewis – the founder of department store retailer John Lewis, less than a year after taking the role.

Patrick was appointed as CFO back in July 2024 but has decided to exit the business, understood to be due to the requirements becoming unsuitable due to the location.

However, he is expected to continue in various non-executive board positions he already held and has not taken on a further executive position elsewhere.

On the interim appointment, the company said that Dibb-Fuller brings “extensive retail and consumer experience, which will be invaluable as we continue to focus on delivering the next phase of growth”.
