Andrew Parker, Sales Director at FWS Direct by FW Style Limited, shares an insight into its performance during the January Furniture Show (JFS), it’s top product of the event and what’s next for the wholesaler.
For FWS Direct, JFS proved to be a successful show for the business, with new ranges resonating with buyers – so much so, orders placed went beyond initial forecasts. “JFS was very successful for us,” Andrew revealed. “We enjoyed four busy days welcoming a constant stream of both old and new customers.
“Whilst we felt that the show overall was quieter than previous years in terms of pure numbers of visitors, our lasting impression was that the quality of those who did come was high with most having a serious intent to buy.
“We comfortably exceeded our target for orders taken at the show and have picked up lots more business after re-connecting with visitors to our stand.”
For stand out performers, Andrew said it was tough to pick just one as there were many successful ranges on show. “If we were to pick just one product to be a stand out, it would have been our 3-piece Bedroom Set for only £80 – it was a great success.
“However, we also had great interest in our new collections of Bedframes, Mattresses, Dining Sets and Bistro Barstools, all receiving positive feedback from buyers with orders being placed too.”

Following the show, FWS Direct has continued its momentum as Andrew explains: “We have already started following up with customers who visited our stand and have encouragingly had to place new factory orders over and above our previous plans due to the high level of orders and interest from customers at the show.
“We’re delighted at the response so far and now the hard work starts by maintaining this momentum generated at the show throughout the year.”
With that in mind, Andrew and the team are already implementing feedback gained into its next phase of product development. “We have taken on board some constructive feedback from some very professional buyers who visited our stand and have already set in motion even more new product development.
“This means we keep our offering fresh and on trend in terms of materials and colours used, so watch this space.”
Furthermore, FWS Direct is busy preparing for its next exhibition having booked in for The Spring Furniture & Bed Show, organized by Minerva and takes place during 20-21 May 2026 in Telford. Here, the company expects to showcase an expanded Dining Room range along with launching products into a new product category.
For now, the focus is on refining its product expansion plans while agents hit the road following a positive JFS experience. “We have a team of experienced Sales Agents on the road and with a carriage paid order level of just £650+VAT,” Andrew said. “We are moving forwards with the confidence that with the expansion of our product offers we can be a solid commercial partner to our UK customers.”
