Soft furnishings supplier Riva Home has reported a decline in sales as losses widened.
According to its latest filed accounts for the year ended 31 January 2025, total sales fell 3.4% to £22.5m from £23.3m in 2024.
Pre-tax losses resulted at £1m, widening from a loss of £10,000 recorded the previous year.
Stated within its report, Riva said: “This year has been a period of reorganisation and strategic change for us, setting the stage for future growth. However, these changes have come with costs which reflect in this year. We have streamlined our Lichfield manufacturing and relocated it to our Leeds site.
“Additionally, our Glasgow office has also been moved to Leeds. In line with our strategic direction, we have reviewed our stock offerings and invested in clearing old stock to make room for our new ranges and categories. The benefits of these changes are showing in FY26 growth and profitability.”
