Luxury beds retailer continues to grow sales

Beds and bedroom furniture retailer And So To Bed has reported a growth in sales.

According to its latest filed accounts for the year ended 31 December 2024, total sales rose 7.5% to £15.9m from £14.8m in 2023.

Pre-tax profit resulted at £934,000, slightly down from £1m year-on-year.

Stated within its report, the company said that UK sales were up 5.5% to £15.2m from £14.4m, while EU revenues were also up to £380,000 from £266,000. Rest of the world sales increased 140% to £365,000 from £158,000.

Gross margin decreased 2% to 51.1%, due to “the highly competitive retail environment for fewer (relocating) customers”.

And So To Bed added that it had an order book of £2m at the year end with order intake remaining strong in the first quarter of 2025.
