MattressNextDay has achieved its fourth consecutive record-breaking Black Friday, delivering a 19% increase in revenue compared with 2024.
The milestone follows another strong year for the business, which was recently named the National Bed Federation’s Online Bed Retailer of the Year for the third year running (2023-2025)
A refreshed promotional calendar drove this year’s performance. Discounts increased gradually throughout November, with the biggest savings released on Black Friday. All brands across the portfolio took part, giving customers a wider range of offers than in previous years.
“We wanted to keep people engaged throughout the month instead of waiting for one big drop of deals”, says Jamie Latham, CTO of MattressNextDay. “The pattern worked. We saw more early interest and strong demand right through to the end of the event.”
The company also invested in technology ahead of peak season, improving site speed and navigation to support higher volumes of traffic. Updated buying guides, new imagery and brand ambassador content contributed to stronger engagement and greater confidence at checkout.
Operationally, MattressNextDay entered Black Friday well prepared. Deep stock levels ensured the business could maintain its next-day delivery promise, which has been a key part of its service for over 20 years.
Looking ahead to next year, MattressNextDay has confirmed that it will support The Fifth Trust, a Kent-based charity for adults with learning disabilities, as its Charity of the Year for 2026. The partnership will focus on fundraising and awareness activities that help the charity continue its work with more than 170 people across the region.
“We are in a strong position going into next year, which means we can put more energy into giving back”, says Martin Seeley, CEO of MattressNextDay. “The Fifth Trust does important work, and we are looking forward to supporting their team and the adults who rely on their services.”
