National furniture retailer eyes up third Scottish store

National furniture retailer Furniture Village has revealed plans for a new store in Scotland.

Detailed in a planning application to Stirling Council, the new store would see the retailer take over a unit on Springkerse Retail Park in Stirling, formerly occupied by Carpetright.

The plans state that alterations would be made to create a new mezzanine level, along with other fixtures and fittings.

The total value of the proposed work is a figure of around £970,000.

It would mark Furniture Village’s third store in Scotland, adding to existing locations in Edinburgh and Glasgow.
