The group behind nonwoven fabrics supplier TechTex has reported a slight decline in sales while profits rise.
According to its latest filed accounts for the year ended 30 November 2024, turnover decreased 3.3% to £19.9m from £20.6m in 2023.
Pre-tax profit resulted at £2.1m, significantly improving from £269,000. The group said gross profit margin increased to 26.1% from 20.6%.
Stated within its report, the company said: “The company has continued to ‘streamline’ its sales base to concentrate on higher margin products and accounts.
“Continued investment in new plant and machinery continues to contribute to improvements in efficiencies.”
