Norfolk independent continues to grow top line

Norfolk’s largest independent furniture and furnishings retailer Aldiss has reported another year of record sales.

According to its latest filed accounts for the year ended 27 September 2025, total sales rose 2.85% to £22.1m from £21.5m in 2024, marking a third straight year of record turnover.

Pre-tax profit resulted at £622,000, down from £682,000, while year-end cash stood at £1.5m, with net assets valuing £4.1m, up from £4m year-on-year.

Stated within its report, Aldiss said: “Intake turnover was also positive, meaning that there was an increase in the year end order book.

“The year end order book was £3.283m, £322k up on the prior year. With this increase the directors are confident that the company should again produce a profit for the next twelve months, assuming that trade continues at the current rate.

“It is expected that the works continuing at the Fakenham distribution centre, will also be completed over the next twelve months.”
