Resilient Windsor looks forward to 2026

Mohammed Boota, Director at Windsor Bed Frames, talks about new product developments, ongoing investments and why it’s taking a digital approach in 2026.

Despite navigating one of the toughest years for the company and wider industry, West Midlands-based bed frame manufacturer Windsor Bed Frames has used the market slowdown to design, develop and invest across the business.

“The market has slowed, customer spending has been unpredictable, and operational costs have continued to rise,” outlines Mohammed. “Even so, Windsor Bed Frames has kept moving forward. We’ve focused on staying consistent with quality, fulfilling orders on time, and supporting our retail partners. It hasn’t been an easy period, but we’ve remained resilient, continued producing high-quality solid pine and oak beds, and kept the business steady through determination and hard work.”

Despite the challenging climate, Windsor Bed Frames has continued to invest in key areas that have strengthened the business for the long-term. These include improvements across its workshop to increase efficiency and reduce production bottlenecks, as well as increasing its professional product photography and digital content to support retailers online. This is an area that remains “crucial” with strong imagery in high demand.

“These investments ensure we stay competitive and ready for growth when the market improves,” Mohammed continued. “We’ve also continued to focus on product development. We are currently working on several new designs that reflect modern trends while staying true to the solid craftsmanship we are known for.”

These new models are planned for introduction in January 2026, with Mohammed remaining “confident” they will strengthen its range and offer retailers fresh options for the year ahead. “We’re seeing a steady increase in demand for solid, long-lasting wooden beds with simple, clean designs. Customers want durable furniture made from quality materials, and retailers are looking for reliable UK-made products they can trust. There’s also a growing interest in natural finishes, minimalistic looks, and custom sizing options. These trends continue to guide our product development decisions and we know our next range will hit all these touchpoints.”

As highlighted earlier, Windsor Bed Frames has made big steps in enhancing its digital efforts and this will continue into next year as a key priority. “Looking toward 2026, our priority is to build on our strengths and push forward. We plan to expand our product range with several new designs, continue improving manufacturing efficiency, and strengthen our relationships with retailers,” Mohammed added.

“Digitally, we aim to enhance our product imagery and online presence further. Our goal is to enter 2026 with fresh energy, a stronger product lineup, and a more streamlined production process, ensuring Windsor Bed Frames is well-positioned for growth.”
