Homeware and furnishings retailer TK Maxx and Homesense has issued a product recall on a sauna blanket over safety concerns.

In a notice by the Office for Product Safety and Standards, the product recall is for the Bluzen Infrared Sauna Blanket presenting a risk of burns.

The product, which originates in China, was sold in TK Maxx and Homesense stores between October 2025 and March 2026.

A statement said: “The product presents a risk of burns as it may overheat during use. This could lead to parts of the product melting and burning the user. The product does not meet the requirements of the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016.

“The product has been recalled from end users by TJX UK. We recommend that consumers stop using the product immediately and return it to any TK Maxx or Homesense store for a full refund or replacement.”
