Sales down at garden furniture retailer

Garden furniture retailer White Stores has reported a decline in sales and profit.

According to its latest filed accounts for the year ended 31 December 2024, total sales resulted at £37.6m, down 6.2% from £40.1m in 2023.

Pre-tax profit stood at £199,000 for the year, down from £621,000, while gross profit margin improved from 28.1% to 31.6%.

Stated within its report, White Stores said: “The business is proud to report another year of significant advancement, marked by robust performance across its core product ranges and the strategic expansion of its national footprint through the opening of new showrooms across the UK.

“These milestones reinforce the White Stores’ position as the country’s leading Outdoor Living retailer, underpinned by a best-in-class infrastructure network, a commitment to excellence, and a clear vision for shaping the future of the industry.”
