Sales down at rugs supplier

Rugs supplier Flair Rugs has reported a slight decline in sales as turnover remained close to £50m.

According to its latest filed accounts for the year ended 30 June 2025, total sales fell 2.1% to £49.7m from £50.7m in 2024.

UK sales fell to £45.5m from £47m, while EU revenues stood at £232,000. Rest of the world sales increased from £3.7m to £3.9m.

Pre-tax losses resulted at £654,000, down from its profit of £2.7m recorded the previous year.

Stated within its report, the company said: “Overheads have increased year on year and have been impacted by forward currency contracts.

“The business continues to successfully grow with its existing customer and supplier relationships.”
