Sales grow at mobility furniture specialist

Specialist mobility products supplier for the furniture and beds industry, Pride Mobility, has reported a growth in sales.

According to its latest filed accounts for the year ended 31 December 2024, total sales rose 17.7% to £30.5m from £25.9m in 2023.

Pre-tax profit amounted to £1m, improving from a loss of £376,000 recorded in the previous year.

Stated within its report, the company, which includes Pride Mobility UK and its sister brand, Sitting Pretty by Pride Mobility Ltd, said: “2024 saw an up turn in the revenue and profit of Pride Mobility UK Ltd after the loss of a major customer in 2023 that resulted in a slight decline compared to the results of prior years. Revenue for 2024 has increased by £2.4m in part due to supply chain excellence with the companies OEMs on a global scale.

“Sitting Pretty by Pride Mobility Ltd continued to flourish with modest revenue growth in 2024 compared to the previous year. Specialising in rise recline lift chairs, adjustable beds, and fixed furniture, the company continued to serve a diverse clientele, including elderly individuals and those with mobility challenges. Despite growing competition, Sitting Pretty maintained a steady performance, buoyed by increasing demand for mobility aids and wellness products.”
