Sales rise again at mattress maker

The UK division of US mattress manufacturer Sealy has reported another increase in sales as losses narrowed.

According to its latest filed accounts for the year ended 30 June 2025, total sales rose 14.3% to £30.3m from £26.5m in 2024, further adding to its growth of 23.8% from £21.4m in 2023.

Pre-tax losses amounted to £1.8m, narrowing significantly from a loss of £3.6m recorded in the previous year.

Stated within its account report, the Sealy said: “The Company has continued to expand its market presence with new product ranges and increase floor model distribution.

“The new product ranges utilise unique proprietary spring technology and the directors and management are focused on using this to drive revenue and profit growth to improve the company’s performance. The Company has benefited from increased sales as a result.”
