Upholstered furniture retailer DFS has announced that as part of its succession planning, Jo Boydell plans to retire from the Board at the conclusion of the AGM on 14 November 2025. 

Bruce Marsh, who joined the Board in August 2024, will take over as Chair of the Audit & Risk Committee with immediate effect in order to ensure a smooth transition ahead of Jo’s retirement.

Until that time, Jo will continue in her role as a Non-Executive Director of the Company and as a member of the Audit & Risk Committee, the Remuneration Committee, the Nomination Committee and the Responsible Sustainable Business Committee.
