Tapi Carpets & Floors has announced its latest store opening in Leeds Kirkstall, on the site of former Carpetright store.

Tapi was born in 2015 by a handful of flooring industry specialists passionate about flooring and placing customers at the heart of everything they do.  

In July 2024, Tapi Carpets & Floors bought Carpetright when the company went into administration, which included taking over 54 stores from the retailer across the region. 

Tapi are known for making inspiring flooring reassuringly simple, and this shows with their customers rating them excellent on Trustpilot, with over 86,000 customer reviews. 

Leeds Kirkstall adds to their portfolio of more than 210 Tapi stores. The new store is located at Unit 4 Abbey Retail Park, Savins Mill Way, Kirkstall, Leeds. Tapi Leeds Kirkstall opened on Friday 29 August 2025.
