Premium sleep brand, TEMPUR®, has extended its partnership with GreenTheUK – an environmental organisation dedicated to supporting wildlife conservation and restoration projects across the UK – until 2029.
Founded in 2021 by siblings, Xanthe and Edmund Caldecott, GreenTheUK is a female-led company working with businesses and charities to deliver projects that have a lasting and positive impact on local wildlife.
TEMPUR first started working with GreenTheUK in 2024 and has directly contributed to the planting of 5.75 hectares of wildflower meadows. Outside of financial contributions, members of the TEMPUR® team have also supported local environmental projects through volunteering days, including the building of a Stag Beetle loggery and the planting of native wildflower seeds in a local community space in Ealing.
The extended partnership will see an additional 12.25 hectares of wildflower meadows planted in the UK by 2030, starting with 3.25 hectares in 2026 and followed by three hectares per year in 2027, 2028 and 2029.
Tobin James, Managing Director at TEMPUR® UK, says: “We are proud to be extending our partnership with GreenTheUK to continue backing projects that support wildlife and promote biodiversity across the UK.
“This is just one of a number of sustainability initiatives we are involved in at TEMPUR® as we strive to minimise our environmental impact on both a local and global scale.”
Xanthe Caldecott, Co-Founder and Managing Director at GreenTheUK, says: “Wildflower meadows are vital for pollinators and other wildlife, yet they’ve declined significantly across the UK. We’re delighted to grow our partnership with TEMPUR to help restore these important habitats and deliver lasting benefits for biodiversity and local communities”.
