The Odd Company supplies bespoke mattresses for luxury Wraxhall Vineyard

A partnership between Somerset’s Wraxhall Vineyard and Yorkshire bed-makers, The Odd Company, has celebrated a shared vision of comfort, sustainability, and the British-made.

Founded over 40 years ago, The Odd Company has built a reputation for crafting premium, handmade mattresses using sustainably sourced natural materials and traditional techniques.

Originally selected by Wraxhall to provide custom mattresses for their cottages, they have now partnered again to supply the new Plankbridge Shepherd Huts.

The Odd Company was initially chosen to supply the beds in Vine Cottage and The Old Winery. Wraxall pride themselves on their chic, modern interiors and rustic character that celebrate life away from the hustle and bustle. They wanted their touches to be not only comfortable but also full of personality.

The Odd Company partnered with the team to supply custom-made, bespoke headboards, beds, and mattresses that reflected Wraxall’s distinctive style. The Odd Company ensured each piece was crafted to match the aesthetic of the vineyard while prioritising guest comfort.

Building on the success of their cottages, Wraxhall created a unique glamping experience and again chose The Odd Company to supply the beds. Sharing a belief that a great night’s sleep defines a guest’s experience, Wraxhall selected The Odd Company’s best selling Richmond mattress, designed to provide exceptional, luxury support. Their commission reflects Wraxhall’s commitment to offering guests the very best sleep experience in their huts.

Andrew Seed, The Odd Company’s Managing Director, commented: “Our work with Wraxhall is all about bespoke craftsmanship and attention to detail. These partnerships come so naturally as they’re all about a shared ethos of quality, good sleep, and creating incredible spaces where people wish they could spend every night. Wraxhall wanted guests to enjoy a truly exceptional stay, and our mission of improving sleep really aligned here.”
