West Midlands upholstery manufacturer Sofa Connections reveals three new models set to be standout stars during the January Furniture Show 2026.
Sofa Connections has been busy building on its reputation as one of the UK’s most trusted names in handcrafted, made-to-order furniture. Over the past few years, the company has rebranded, relocated and refreshed its product designs.
Now, the business, which is headed up by husband-and-wife duo Matt and Sarah Oakley, is ready to present its latest models at the January Furniture Show – an exhibition that promises to be its most exciting showcase yet.
Taking centre stage in Hall 1, Stand F-10, is Highgate, Ilkley and Gaudet. All three new ranges offer something different, blending modern designs with traditional craftmanship. Sarah explains: “Our new Highgate model features a square arm with a stylish piped detail that is low to the floor, while the Ilkley is traditional with a modern twist, featuring a bandage arm with the perfect shape to rest comfortably.
“Finally, the Gaudet is a set back arm classic, yet modern, and is supported by traditional castors, with a new feather seat and feather back cushions. All three are show-stoppers and we can’t wait to show them off.”
Quality and craftsmanship are part of the fabric at Sofa Connections, with Matt – key to ongoing design development – adding that the new range marks an exciting new chapter for the business. “We’re proud to make our furniture here in the UK, supporting local talent and ensuring our customers receive something truly special — furniture that’s built to last.

Sofa Connections has also been shortlisted for the Excellence in Furniture Awards in Best of British category – a testament to its ongoing growth. “We’re really excited to attend the awards dinner and can’t wait to socialise and network during the event,” Sarah added. “We’re looking forward to a great show and we think this is our year to truly showcase what we’re made of.”
