TOKABO Builds Momentum

For TOKABO, a family-owned furniture manufacturer based in Western Ukraine, the transition from late 2025 into early 2026 has been defined by steady growth and a continued focus on international development.

With more than 30 years of experience in solid wood furniture production, the company has seen an increase in orders from its established European partners, supported by the introduction of new collections.

At the same time, TOKABO has continued to strengthen its presence in the UK market. The company exhibited for the second time at the January Furniture Show 2026 in Birmingham, following its first appearance at the Manchester Furniture Show in July 2025. These events have provided an opportunity to present its latest ranges to the UK trade and to better understand the expectations of the market.

Rather than focusing on a single standout product, TOKABO’s approach is centred on continuous collection development. The company regularly introduces new ranges, refining both design and functionality. At present, two recently launched collections are gaining traction across European markets and are becoming increasingly important within the company’s portfolio.

“We focus on building complete product lines rather than individual pieces,” the team explains. “This allows our partners to work with cohesive ranges that are consistent in quality and suitable for long-term retail programmes.”

Like many manufacturers, TOKABO has also faced operational challenges over the past year. The most significant during the winter period has been related to energy supply. In response, the company invested in generator capacity in advance, ensuring uninterrupted production and the ability to maintain delivery schedules.

“This was a necessary step for us,” the company notes. “Production continuity remains a priority, particularly when working with large-scale orders.”

In terms of market direction, TOKABO continues to see growing demand for natural materials and environmentally conscious finishes. While this has long been central to the company’s identity, it is now increasingly reflected in broader market preferences. Solid oak and beech furniture, combined with natural oil finishes, aligns with a shift towards durability, authenticity and long-term use.

Looking ahead, TOKABO is preparing for further international expansion. In April, the company plans to exhibit at High Point Market in the United States, marking its entry into a new market. At the same time, work is ongoing on new collections for upcoming summer and autumn exhibition seasons.

Alongside product development, the company is also continuing to invest in its production capabilities, with a particular focus on modernising equipment and strengthening the role of automated and robotic machinery within the factory. These improvements are aimed at increasing efficiency while maintaining consistent product quality.

Following two UK exhibitions and ongoing dialogue with the market, TOKABO is now gradually developing its presence in the region and exploring opportunities for long-term cooperation with British partners.

For the company, the direction remains clear: combining production stability, natural materials and consistent quality to support sustainable growth across international markets.
