Creditor shortfall following upholstery maker liquidation

Creditors of upholstered furniture maker Delcor Upholstery are set to suffer a shortfall of just over £1m.

David Kirk and Daniel Jeeves, both of Kirks, were appointed as joint liquidators of Delcor Upholstery Limited on 2 June 2026.

Detailed in newly filed documents on Companies House, preferential creditor employee claims are owed £54,000, while the HMRC is owed £476,000.

Unsecured creditors are owed £616,000, which includes a further £402,000 owed to employees. It is expected that creditors will suffer a shortfall of £1.07m.

Since the appointment, a new company has been registered on Companies House under Heritage House Furniture Ltd under common directorship. This entity was incorporated on 8 June 2026.
