Furniture retailer extends warranties across select ranges

Furniture retailer Furniture Outlet has introduced extended warranties across its signature collections.

The business said it’s a move shaped by how UK households are buying furniture today, with “shoppers wanting pieces that last and that long‑term value is now a non‑negotiable”.

The extended warranty programme is across sofas, dining, beds and storage, introducing extended cover of up to 15 years on selected sofas within its Moda collection.

Every item sold by Furniture Outlet includes a standard 12‑month manufacturing warranty. The new extended structure goes significantly further:

  • Moda: 15‑year frame warranty, 2 years on all other components
  • Casa: 10‑year frame warranty, 2 years on all other components
  • Nest: 2‑year frame warranty

“These warranty lengths are usually associated with higher‑priced retailers. Furniture Outlet is now offering long‑term cover rarely seen at this price point, bringing premium‑level longevity to a wider audience,” the business said.

“UK households are buying differently this year. Rising living costs, smaller homes and a growing rejection of disposable furniture have pushed longevity to the top of the priority list. Shoppers want pieces that last, and they want long‑term value without compromise.

“Furniture Outlet’s extended warranties are a direct response to this shift. The business has invested in robust frame construction, engineered for long‑term structural stability and tested for real‑home durability across its best‑selling ranges. This allows the retailer to offer extended cover without increasing prices.”

Lloyd Bellis, Director, added: “Customers are buying differently in 2026. They want furniture that lasts, and they want real value without compromise. Extending our warranties up to 15 years isn’t about marketing. It is about standing behind the build quality of our products and giving people long-term confidence in the pieces they select for their homes.”
