Independent department store chain Bradbeers has reported a growth in turnover as total store sales continued to rise.
According to its latest filed accounts for the year ended 1 February 2026, total store sales rose 4.1% to £32.8m from £31.5m in 2025, marking another year of consecutive growth. Concession sales stood at £3.8m, down from £4m.
When excluding concession sales and VAT on own trade sales, total turnover resulted at £24.3m, up 5.1% from £23.1m.
Pre-tax profit resulted at £1.1m, up from its profit of £1m compared to the previous year.
Stated within its report, the company said: “The Directors are very pleased with the trading results for the period bearing in mind the market conditions, inflationary pressures and the general economic outlook. The Salisbury department store’s performance continues to improve in line with expectations.”
