Upholstery manufacturing group Sofa Brands International has announced that after more than 30 years with the business, its Commercial Director for Duresta and International sales, Clive Kenyon-Brown, will be leaving the company later this year to pursue new opportunities and challenges.
During his career with the company, Clive has played a significant role in the sales growth and creative development of the Duresta and SBI International business, helping to build many of the long-standing relationships and commercial successes that remain central to the group today.
“His contribution, leadership and commitment over three decades have left a lasting impact across the organisation and amongst customers, suppliers and colleagues alike,” James Thompson, Chief Executive Officer, commented.
“Throughout his time with the company, Clive Kenyon-Brown has been widely respected for his professionalism, experience and dedication, and has been instrumental in supporting both our customers and our teams through many important stages in the company’s development.
“On behalf of everyone at Sofa Brands International, we would like to sincerely thank Clive for his exceptional contribution and loyal service, and we wish him every success and happiness in the future as he embarks upon the next chapter of his career.”
Clive said: “I have been incredibly proud to have spent more than 30 years with such a fantastic business and to have worked alongside so many talented colleagues, customers and partners over that time.
“While this was not an easy decision after such a long association with the company, I feel the time is right for me to explore new opportunities and challenges. I leave with many great memories and would like to thank everyone for their support, friendship and professionalism over the years.”
“The Sofa Brands business remains focused on continuing to deliver excellent service and support to all customers and partners, and we look forward to building further on the strong foundations that have been established over many years,” James added.
