MEBLE POLSKA 2026: Furniture Buyers from 73 Countries

Once again, the MEBLE POLSKA trade fair confirmed its standing as one of Europe’s key furniture contracting events.

This year’s edition, held in Poznań on 24–26 February 2026, was visited by professional furniture buyers from all over the world, with international visitors accounting for nearly two-thirds of all attendees at 62%. The total number of trade fair participants reached 15,266.

MEBLE POLSKA 2026 was visited by furniture buyers from a record number of 73 countries, the highest in the fair’s history. As in previous years, the largest foreign group was made up of visitors from Germany, the most important trading partner of the Polish furniture industry, accounting for 16.9% of international attendees. Surprisingly, despite the weaker market conditions, the number of buyers from its western neighbour increased this year by 5.3%.

The next largest groups came from the Czech Republic (6.6%) and Ukraine (6.5%). Among the most strongly represented markets were also Lithuania and France (5.5% each), followed by the United Kingdom (5.1%), Romania and the Netherlands (4.9% each), Slovakia (4.4%), and Belgium (3.7%).

In addition to buyers from most European countries, visitors also included representatives of non-European markets, including Canada, the United States, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, China, Taiwan, India, Japan, Mexico, Qatar, Congo, Egypt, Ghana, Australia, Brazil, Guatemala, Trinidad and Tobago, Tunisia, Uruguay, and Vietnam.

The exhibition covered around 60,000 m² across 10 halls, and the number of exhibitors increased again – from 378 companies in 2025 to nearly 400 in 2026. Companies from 22 countries took part in the fair, including strong exhibitor representations from France, Turkey, Slovakia and China, while Ukrainian furniture manufacturers also prepared a national exhibition. Feedback from exhibitors was very positive.

Forte presented seven premier collections created in line with the latest interior design trends, as well as 14 refreshed editions of its best selling programmes. Furthermore, For the first time, Specific – the established manufacturer of upholstered beds, sofas and mattresses owned by the Forte Group – presented its own stand, showcasing its New Design brand.

Sofa Source attracted strong interest where the company showcased its latest upholstery collections to an international audience of buyers and industry professionals. The stand saw consistent visitor traffic throughout the show. Particular attention was drawn to the Eastwood suite, which features the brand’s All-In-One Immersive Experience – a standout innovation launching for the first time at the January Furniture Show. This ground-breaking centre console draws inspiration from premium automotive interiors, placing complete comfort control at the user’s fingertips.

UNIQUE was pleased to participate once again. Central and Eastern Europe continues to be an important and growing market for UNIQUE, with strong potential for further development and partnerships in the region. As for Lech Fabrics, the trade fair provided a valuable opportunity to meet business partners, strengthen existing relationships and exchange insights with many upholstered furniture collections presented at the fair featuring Lech Fabrics materials, with the Bella fabric being particularly visible across numerous stands.

Meble Polska 2026 marked a defining milestone for the recent launch of FABRI. “We presented our customisable sofa beds alongside a 3D configurator and AR visualisation, allowing visitors to explore the full range of our designs with ease and confidence. The response to our collection was extremely positive. The entire exhibition display sold out, marking an exceptional and highly encouraging start for the brand.” Meanwhile, Muebles Poland strengthened its international presence, stating: “Our focus is on expanding our partner network across Europe and the UK, working with retailers, distributors and online platforms.”

On the FABB stand, the company showed that interiors are increasingly built around what is personal – mood, lifestyle, the need for comfort, or the desire to stand out. This is where its Dare to Belong FABB resonated well with visitors. As for Davis Fabrics, its BOSCO, GELATO and VELA collections all proved to be successful ranges. “We support our partners through DAVIS LAB, where we test performance parameters and fabric durability, and through DAVIS PRO, our advisory service for selecting materials for specific applications, quality standards, and production requirements.”

On the first day of the fair, the MTP Group Gold Medals were presented during a ceremonial gala where 10 products received awards and two of the Gold Medal-winning products also received additional distinctions. The Grand Prix was awarded to the Bologna modular system by PUSZMAN Sp. z o.o., while the Eco Prize went to KATMANDU Sp. z o.o. for the Campi Collection.

Józef Szyszka commented from the organiser’s perspective: “Particular emphasis should also be placed on the very high standard of the exhibition itself. Both the scale of the presentation and the quality of the offer showcased across 10 halls demonstrated that the industry is capable of responding to changing market needs not only with attractive design, but also with a mature approach to sales, exports and innovation. These were days of intensive business meetings, concrete trade discussions and a clear signal that, despite a demanding market environment, the furniture sector remains ambitious, active and ready for further growth.”
