Cófra recently attended Meble Polska Furniture Exhibition in Poznań, supporting its established manufacturing partner Mebus, who used the event as a platform to unveil a range of new designs aimed at the international furniture market.
Recognised as one of Europe’s most important furniture trade shows, Meble Polska is fast becoming the standout event for contemporary European design. The exhibition attracts buyers, retailers and designers from across the continent, making it the perfect setting for Mebus to present its latest collections and while also demonstrating the strength of its ongoing collaboration with Cófra.
Having attended the exhibition for the past five years, Christina from Cófra has seen the show evolve significantly. “We have seen momentous changes to this show over the years, with notable brands attendance increasing each year,” she remarks, highlighting the growing importance of the event within the European furniture calendar.
The stand attracted strong interest from visiting UK retailers, many of whom were keen to discover the latest design innovations emerging from Europe. While the exhibition highlighted several exciting new introductions from Mebus, some familiar Cófra favourites also remained central to the display, showcasing the brand’s continued commitment to combining contemporary design with high-quality craftsmanship.
One of the standout pieces was the elegant Ego dining table, which was presented in the popular Bordo finish. The table continues to be a favourite among retailers thanks to its striking aesthetic and versatile appeal within modern dining interiors.
Also drawing attention was the Lira chair, originally launched earlier this year at INDX. Already recognised for its luxurious design and comfort, the chair now features an enhanced swivel action, adding an extra level of practicality and sophistication while further elevating its premium feel.
Alongside these established designs, Mebus introduced several exciting new dining options. Among the highlights was a beautifully crafted round extending table offering two extension pieces and unique drinks storage underneath. Also featured was a one metre round extending table with an enclosed extension which proved to be one of the most popular launches.
Following the successful conclusion of Meble Polska, the Mebus team is now turning its attention to the renowned Salone del Mobile in Milan, where preparations are already underway for what promises to be a very special presentation. The event is widely regarded as one of the most influential design showcases in the world, and Mebus plans to reveal further exciting developments as it continues to push forward with innovative European furniture design.
