Furniture retailer Furniture Outlet has announced that Lloyd Bellis has now taken over the role of Director.

Lloyd takes over from his father Ian Bellis, with Ian remaining at the business as Non-Executive Chairman.

“I’ve been surrounded by this business for as long as I can remember, from helping out in the warehouse as a young teenager to working across our stores,” Lloyd said. “Over the last five years, I’ve focused on everything related to our products and buying, while simultaneously learning the inner workings of how the business operates.

“My dad has built something special over the last 19 years, and I’m proud to carry that forward while bringing my own energy into this next chapter. The new extended warranties are a great example of where we’re heading: giving customers more value and more reasons to choose us.

“We’ve got a brilliant team behind us, and I’m excited to continue growing the brand and opening new stores across London and the surrounding areas.”
