Interior and upholstery fabric specialist ILIV has reported a decline in sales but a growth in profit.
According to its latest filed accounts for the year ended 30 September 2025, total sales fell 2% to £16.1m from £16.5m in 2024.
UK sales were down to £14.1m from £14.5m, while EU sales rose to £1.2m from £1.1m. Outside the EU, revenues were down from £775,000 to £729,000
Pre-tax profit resulted at £689,000, up from £451,000 recorded the previous year.
Stated within its report, the group said: “Turnover declined by 2%, while gross margin increased by 9.5% with the gross margin percentage increasing from 35.6% to 39.9% as a result of improved returns on point of sale and focus on selling more cut length fabric.
“The Company remains committed to investing in the ILIV brand through increased marketing activity around exhibitions and showroom presence. The Company has and continues to recruit new sales talent to support the growth of the business both domestically and internationally.”
