Independent furniture retailer Hampton & McMurray has announced it plans to close.
The company is running a grand £1.5m closing down sale as it prepares to shutter its Glasgow city centre store.
Situated on Renfrew Street, Hampton & McMurray, which was established back in 1952, has made three staff members redundant.
The business, which has been owned by the Richardson family since 1984, cited the traffic, parking and retail market challenges as the main reasons behind the decision to close.
The closure does not impact the Hunter Furnishings sister business in Ayr, which will continue to trade as normal.
