DUXIANA expands in Dublin

Kevin Slade, Executive Vice President of the DUX Group, reveals more about DUXIANA’s expansion in Ireland.

Earlier this year, Swedish bed and furniture manufacturer DUX subtly revealed its intention to open a brand-new flagship DUXIANA showroom in Dublin later this year. In amongst the ongoing celebrations of DUX’s 100-year anniversary, the business confirmed its Irish expansion is imminent.

Situated in the heart of Beacon South Quarter, Dublin, the space sits alongside brands such as BoConcept and Roche Bobois, with plans to officially launch in a matter of weeks. Despite an opening date yet to be confirmed, Kevin shared that progress is moving at pace as well as sharing a first look – as seen through the images in this article.

“As previously mentioned in our March editorial with Big Furniture Group, business over the last 12-months has continued to see amazing growth across all markets,” Kevin said. “We’ve continued to build in the emerging markets such as Italy, France and Spain, while the UK business has grown significantly with the addition of the Stamford store.

“Now, our immediate attention is on Ireland, where we are excited to be opening a brand-new flagship DUXIANA showroom in Dublin very soon. The location at Beacon South Quarter is the epicentre of premium furniture for Dublin and offers convenient access and parking for the visiting customers.

“We’ve had a presence in a smaller location for multiple decades but by relocating the store to a more permanent and premium location, plus the increased size of the store, we aim to own premium sleep within the market.”

The flagship showroom opening also forms part of wider ambitions for the brand in the Irish market, as Kevin continued: “We are currently looking at further locations and will further expand when both the time and location is right to do so. For now, we’re excited to open the doors to Dublin and showcase our premium products in a much larger, inviting space.”

In fact, the Dublin store is larger than a typical DUXIANA showroom, and for good reason. “The store is larger than a traditional DUXIANA location is so that we can offer the entire sleep collection and related accessories, but also feature a wide range of our living collection to offer a broader customer experience of the DUX products,” Kevin explained.

“We will be holding a celebration opening event and true to being DUXIANA, we will have something happening to draw the crowds with the date to be confirmed.”

Turning attention across the Irish Sea, Kevin revealed that he and the DUX team are keeping an eye on potential locations in the UK too. “Although there is nothing planned for the immediate future, we are always looking for new opportunities that will suit the brand and have a number of very interesting conversations underway currently with potential new partners, so all I can say at this moment in time is to watch this space!”

With 2026 already a big year for the DUX Group, with its century of innovation at the core, Kevin echoed his words from earlier in the year, as the business enters its next phase of growth. “It really is an unreal feeling to be celebrating 100 years. On a personal level, it’s a real honour to work in, and represent, a company with such a great history, such solid values, amazing products and a world class team. We’re excited for the future, starting with our DUXIANA Dublin showroom launch.”
